MacMac was set up because someone had the opportunity and decided to use the right attitude. That's why it's so successful, that's why in just a few years it was able to assert itself thanks to the competence and correctness of its founders. It all started a bunch of years ago: in 1998 Giammarco is already running a venue that's fundamental for the fledgling Italian dance scene and he's already promoted a number of independent artists on a legendary label. Enrico works as tour manager for a few Italian bands. The two of them meet and get to know each other. They decide to work together, to open a booking agency that works in the area of electronic music and for the club scene, with their ears and minds as open as can be. The strategy is simple: to only work with domestic or foreign artists that they really believe in and to offer a number of services that can lead to the complete production of a tour. From pre-production to promotion, from the management of all the technical details to the off-stage activities. Years of experience that made it possible not only to create a solid and reliable structure but also a group of reliable and competent people, who think that music is basically a matter of emotions and communication: that's one of the reasons why, during these years, MacMac managed to take for the first time in our country as important acts as Laurent Garnier, Gotan Project, Kings Of Convenience, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Thievery Corporation and Zero7 and why more and more artists, promoters and big music companies decide that MacMac deserves all their trust.
